David G. Hartwell is an editor of speculative fiction. He has worked for many major publishers, & has published many anthologies. Since 1995 he has been the senior editor at Tor/Forge Books. He was innate in July 10, 1941.
Awards and Other Achievements
Every season he edits deuce influential anthologies, ''Season's Right SF (by having a 2004 & 2005 editions co-edited by Kathryn Cramer) and Season's Right Fantasy (by having co-editor Kathryn Cramer). Two anthologies keep close at hand invariably positioned in the top Tenner of the Locus annual reader poll in the category of Best Anthology. Within 1988 he won the World Fantasy Award in the category Best Anthology for The Dark Descent. He has been nominated for the Hugo Award in the category of Best Broker Editor in many occasions, however has never won.
